Important Update: Walden Annual Meeting Postponed
Dear Walden residents:
In compliance with all of the various restrictions we currently face in our community and state, we have decided to postpone the Annual Meeting. We will wait to schedule a date for the meeting when it is safe to do so for everyone concerned.
To keep you updated on the management of the Walden POA, here are some key points:
We have two Board members whose terms have ended: Mark Rising and John Harris. Both members have indicated that they are willing to serve for another term. Until the next meeting is held, they will continue to serve for the time being.
The Board is aware that there are currently some treacherous road conditions in the neighborhood, most notably at the corner of Pond View and Cabin Hill. We have contacted the El Paso County road maintenance department and they are aware of the problems. Unfortunately, potholes and other problems can only be successfully repaired with warmer weather conditions than what we currently have. Therefore, we are at the mercy of the weather when it comes to repairs.
If you have any pressing questions or concerns, please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
One last request: if you or someone you know who lives in Walden is unable to leave their homes, due to COVID-19, please let us know. Conversely, if you are willing to help out a neighbor by running errands, buying groceries, etc., please let us know. Our Walden community is generous and gracious, and we have always taken good care of our fellow neighbors. We want that spirit to continue to live strong in Walden.
Thank you for being a Walden neighbor. Just like the Black Forest fire, we will survive this challenge and thrive as a community!
